I just returned from a Drum Corps show with a few seminarian friends (one of whom played for the Madison Scouts in '04) that was held in Lincoln, Nebraska. The Drum Corps is an affiliation of something like 20 groups that tour the country putting on shows and competitions in different stadiums. They play loud and proud, and really get a workout running around the field to get into all the different formations they make. It's a pleasure to watch, even though one of the corps wasn't able to make it tonight.
