Today is the feast day of St. Pio of Pietrelcina. St. Pio has been one of my most important inspirations for joining the Seminary, and I know he was a great help in intercessory prayer for my little sister, who was born three months premature! He was a devout priest, and had many troubles in his life, but he always offered his problems to the Lord and accepted his crosses (many though they were!) with a humble and obedient heart.

On another note, the Priestie Boyz and I are leaving for Crossroads this evening. Please pray for safe travels. We will be bringing some T-Shirts and business cards to distribute at Crossroads, and I'll be videotaping and recording the event, so we'll see what happens with that material (perhaps there could be a 'pre-release' track of some sort).
