At Mary Queen of Peace, (Tues night devotions 5:30 followed by Mass),
there is a beautiful mosaic picture with both Mary and Jesus wearing a crown.

Our Lady of Providence, (near Grant's Farm) has the picture with both Mary and Jesus wearing crowns also. However, Mary is not looking directly at you as in the original icon, or the one at MQP (yes, in St. Louis.)

A bit of background...the image of Our Mother of Perpetual Help is a very common one in the Churches of the St. Louis Archdiocese. This is because over the years, the Redemptorist priests from the Rock Church, famous for the Tuesday Novena, fanned out over St. Louis and encouraged devotion to Our Lady under this title -- as was the charge given to them by Pope Pius IX to "make her known throughout the world.. .

Please pray for me, that I will be cured of my severe physical, and emotional pain, and that Blessed Mother Mary, will lead me to my true soulmate, for a happy and lasting marriage.

I am a Devotee from the Philippines and we are saying the Novena Every Wednesday at the National Shrine of Our Mother of Perpetual Help also known as The Baclaran Church. The Novena timings there are from morning until evening and thousands of people flocks there to Pray and Honor our Blessed Mother especially on 1st Wednesdays of each month. I hope that one day I will be Celebrating my Birthday which is happen to be the Feast Day of Our Mother of Perpetual Help in the home of the original Icon in Rome with my Family and Friends. Loving Mother, Pray For Us.

Novena and Rosary at St. Francis Xavier Parish- Tulsa, Oklahoma, on Tuesdays, since 1938. Currently four faithful parishioners after the 8am mass each week, with a few others off and on, like myself. I'm planing on being a regular faithful patron when I retire next year. I remember going as a child and the church was full, sixty years ago. I went on a pilgrimage to Rome with my son who is a priest, and visited the Church of St. Alphonsus in 2013.
